I have a chapter from a book by Herman Starnes with the lineage of Moses Starnes 1801-1842. Moses was born in Mecklenburg Co, NC and died before the 17 Dec 1842, son of Fredrick Starnes, b. 1772 and wife Magdaline Cline starnes; who presumably was a son of Joseph Starnes Sr, 1730-1779, who was killed by indians 7 april 1779; Magdaline Cline was daughter of "Michael Klein - Cline", b. 1716 in Germany, d. 1792 in Cabarrus Co, NC and wife of Catherine Schuffert Klein, b.
